About Stacy
I can’t imagine my life without work. I genuinely believe I was put on this earth to make a positive difference and influence others through what I do. My heart is to serve—and I founded Impact and Lead to empower businesses and leaders at home and around the world.

I began my career at IBM, training engineers and maintenance teams on new software systems. From there, I spent nearly a decade with General Motors, leading a factory, designing lean systems, and managing field quality across Oklahoma, Texas, and Mexico.
This period sharpened my ability to lead under pressure, build systems that work, and stay resilient in high-stakes environments.
(Translation: there weren’t many women in those roles—and in manufacturing, things go wrong. A lot!)

Later, I transitioned back into high-tech with Motorola Semiconductor (now NXP), where I expanded my experience in strategic planning, change management, and communication.

Wanting to have a broader impact, I moved into higher education, serving in leadership roles at The University of Texas at Austin and Baylor University, where I focused on leadership development and skill-building in working professionals.

In 2024, I earned my Doctorate in Technology from Purdue University, focusing on technology, leadership, and innovation. My research explores the intersection of growth mindset, innovative thinking, and AI transformation in working professionals.
Going back to school later in life was one of the most rewarding and humbling decisions I’ve made. It deepened my belief in lifelong learning—and my passion for helping leaders grow through challenge and change.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with professionals across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and Asia.

I love designing immersive learning experiences abroad to help people expand their mindset, spark fresh ideas, and strengthen their innovative thinking.

How I Lead (and Learn)
As a licensed Insights® Discovery practitioner, I don’t just use the tool—I live it. Insights changed the way I lead, communicate, and coach every day.

My personal style and preference are led by a powerful blend of red and yellow energy, which together create the directing motivator energy I bring to every room. I’m direct, action-oriented, and results-driven (thank you, red), while also optimistic, engaging, and people-focused (hello, yellow). It’s that combination that gives me both clarity and optimism—able to push forward with purpose while keeping others inspired and included along the way.

Whether I’m facilitating a team session, coaching a senior leader, or navigating change with an organization, I lead with presence, momentum, and just the right amount of challenge to spark real breakthroughs.

And because I believe leadership and learning go hand in hand, I bring that same level of curiosity and connection to wherever I am—whether that’s in a strategy room or a café halfway across the world.
Beyond Work
In addition to consulting and training, I’m also a speaker and podcast host. I’ve delivered keynote talks and custom workshops across the U.S. and abroad—helping teams ignite clarity, spark resilience, and move from stuck to strategic.
You can also find me co-hosting the podcast “A Dash of Salt”, where we explore leadership, growth, and the messy, meaningful moments in between.
When I’m not working, I’m probably traveling, reading, or walking with my talkative husky, Jaxon. I’m blessed with a wonderful husband, two incredibly kind and talented adult sons, and a passport full of memories—nearly 30 countries and counting.
Whether I’m in an airport or a café, I love striking up conversations and immersing myself in new cultures. I believe in curiosity, compassion, and doing the hard work it takes to lead with clarity and courage. I hope we have the chance to meet. I’d love to get to know you better.
Blessings & Love,
